Thinking about raising livestock or ready to level up your herd care? Spend a full day with Conner Prairie’s agriculture team learning the essentials of raising and caring for sheep and goats.
We’ll cover breeds and selection, housing, nutrition, reproduction, and handling. Activities throughout the class include hoof trimming, body-condition scoring, breed Identification, low-stress handling and more. We’ll adjust to the group’s experience and level of interest.
You’ll leave with confidence and clear next steps for starting or improving your herd.
