Let’s spend some time in nature reflecting on our communities and the world we live in. Come gain a better understanding of the concept of civic duty and what it means to be a good neighbor and to care for our beautiful world and its natural resources. What does community responsibility actually look like in our everyday lives? Through thoughtful discussion, art, and journaling invitations, we’ll explore the concept of civic duty and share our thoughts and wishes for our Earth before we head to the trails for a group volunteer opportunity. As a group, we will walk the trails to help care for nature right here in our own community, by helping to clean up any natural debris (branches, twigs, etc.) and litter along the nature trails and surrounding pathways.
