Friday and Saturday evening, enjoy live music, a variety of food options, family-friendly activities and spectacular views across the prairie. Children can enjoy rides in our barrel train as well as playtime at Ag Adventures playground, a thrill ride down our dry tubing hill, games, and more. Catch performances themed to the wonders of flight in Featherston Barn and on the Symphony Stage. After the sun goes down, a colorful hot air balloon glow will light up the night sky! Take a ride in our 1859 Balloon Voyage and experience the festival over 350 feet in the air (weather permitting).
Get a sneak peek of our Headless Horseman-themed corn maze before it opens to the public later in the month. Explore new twists and turns for a kid-friendly or a longer and more challenging version.
Jupiter Flights is a rain-or-shine festival, and most activities (like live music, food trucks, the corn maze, and midway activities) will continue even in light rain. But hot air balloons are very sensitive to weather—even small shifts in wind, temperature,
or moisture can affect safety. That means balloon activities may be delayed, changed, or canceled due to:
Even if the skies look clear, balloon pilots and safety crews monitor conditions constantly, and may adjust plans in real time.
If weather prevents a launch, the Glow—a signature part of the Jupiter Flights experience— will still take place if conditions are safe. If winds or weather make even that impossible, we’ll shift to a Twinkle, where baskets and burners create a fiery, up-close experience on the ground.
If severe weather (like lightning or flooding) causes Conner Prairie to cancel the entire evening – including the festival grounds - the value of your ticket may be applied toward:
We do not offer refunds due to weather-related changes, but in the event of a cancellation, your ticket value will always be honored in one of the ways above.
