Jupiter Flights Balloon Festival (Evening activities repeat each night):

All Tickets for the Friday and Saturday night events are sold out!

Access Pass and VIP tickets are sold out!

Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.:

Children under the age of 2 will not need a ticket.

Tickets are date specific and only valid for the date purchased.

You'll have access to live music, food trucks, games, carnival rides, our corn maze, dry tubing hills, and other activities for the whole family. After the sun goes down, a colorful hot air balloon glow will light up the night sky! The 1859 Balloon Voyage will be open, with balloon rides available for an additional cost, weather permitting. Food and beverages are available at an additional cost.

VIP Experience:

You will have exclusive access to our Sunset Lounge that includes casual seating in adirondack chairs and a private bar with one drink ticket. Your ticket also includes a tasting experience from Oliver Winery.

Weather & Balloon Policy:

Hot air balloons are very sensitive to weather—even small shifts in wind, temperature,
or moisture can affect safety. That means balloon activities may be delayed, changed, or canceled due to:

  • Wind (especially above the trees)
  • Rain, storms or lighting within range
  • Changing conditions in the atmosphere

Even if the skies look clear, balloon pilots and safety crews monitor conditions constantly, and may adjust plans in real time.

If weather prevents a launch, the Glow—a signature part of the Jupiter Flights experience— will still take place if conditions are safe. If winds or weather make even that impossible, we’ll shift to a Twinkle, where baskets and burners create a fiery, up-close experience on the ground.

Most activities (like live music, food trucks, the corn maze and other activities) will continue even in light rain.

In the event lightning strikes within 10 miles of Conner Prairie, we will temporarily suspend operations and ask all guests to return to their vehicles for their safety or seek shelter at a designated museum location. Conner Prairie’s safety protocols require that we wait a minimum of 20 minutes between the last lightning strike and resumption of activities.

If there is inclement weather that prevents balloons from taking flight:

You can use your evening ticket to attend one of the Jupiter Flights Morning Events. Show your ticket from the Festival Evening at the Entry Gates.

In the event of a cancellation, the amount paid for my ticket will automatically be returned to my account and can be applied towards a future event, daily admission, or membership, and is redeemable by contacting Guest Relations. The value of your tickets will remain on your account through 12/31/2026. Please contact Conner Prairie’s Guest Relations team at [email protected] with questions or requests.
