Join Indiana Audubon at Conner Prairie for a Big Sit as part of Birdability Week 2024.   This free outing is open to everyone including beginner birders and families with small children.  Join a guided bird outing along the paved Prairie Trail, or view birds along the trail from benches.  The trail is a paved surface with a slight slope at the trailhead. The trail is a 2-mile loop and includes trail markers every one-tenth of a mile.  Birding may also be done from parked cars, though limited parking is available at the trailhead. Birdability Week is an annual celebration dedicated to birders with disabilities and other health concerns. It serves as a platform to share resources and ideas, fostering an accessible, inclusive, and welcoming birding community.
