The Federalist Forager


In the spring of 1776, the American colonies were engaged in a war against the British, fighting for independence and the formation of a whole new existence. We will look at how war impacted not only the established systems of governance, but also the existence of citizens and soldiers in 1776, and how foraging supplemented their daily lives.

You will experience a foraging trek and tasting samples inspired by 18th-century foodways.
