Nourish your soul and immerse yourself in the fellowship of historical African American cuisine. Guests will explore open-fire cooking and help prepare and enjoy delicious gumbo, macaroni and cheese, mandazi, and kush. Throughout the day, you will learn about the history of African American foodways and how it played an important role in the impact of our society.
This class is for individuals 12+. Anyone under the age of 16 must register with an adult.
