What does the weather have to do with the balloon and flight? Everything! In this homeschool experience, children will participate in hands-on science experiments that will allow them to learn about the weather and the water cycle. Students will also make a personal weather journal to continue their documentation of weather patterns at home. This class does not include a flight in the balloon, but you will have the opportunity to climb aboard inside the gondola as you learn all about Sophie, Conner Prairie’s balloon.
*We kindly ask that younger siblings not attend due to the intentionally designed structure of this program for older students and for their safety as we will be in and near equipment. Thank you for understanding.
